Nushrat Bharucha born 17 May 1989 became popular by playing the female lead roles in movies like Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. She is a member of the Dawoodi Bohra community which practices the very controversial Khatna, or Female Genital Cutting in childhood.
